The Hawaiian Hunas say that the connection to the spirit world is through our bodies, not through our minds. Yet in modern times, we are increasingly disconnected from our bodies -- and our spirits. 

Create a deeper, more intimate relationship between your body, mind, and spirit. Let yourself be guided and nurtured by the helping spirits, and immersed in the wisdom and beauty of your own body.   Release dysfunctional emotional patterns, negative beliefs and attitudes, and old traumas that have become stuck in your body. Learn to love and appreciate your body.  Let your healing and growth be supported in a way that is both grounding and uplifting. Feel a greater sense of oneness and well-being.

During this workshop you will:

  • Learn (or review) an ancient, shamanic method in which you can receive directly the wisdom of the spirits and use it to gain insights about your body and mind
  • Practice several simple methods for receiving the wisdom of your body
  • Explore your body’s postures and stances in life and how to shift them to evoke greater joy and harmony
  • Release negative beliefs, and emotional patterns gently while you let go of physical blockages
  • Experience a profound, deeply physical initiation.  Learn that you can do more than you dreamed!

This class will include simple yoga postures (no previous yoga experience necessary) and a few basic movements like walking. All body types welcome!
